Copywriting Ideas That Will Give You 250 Additional Targeted Leads THIS YEAR

Copywriting is simply salesmanship in writing.  I don’t care what anyone tells you, network marketing is sales.  Always has been, always will be.  That’s not to say that you hammer people with your opportunity.  Sales is rather the discovery of needs and then offering to fill those needs.

Sales is the transfer of belief from one person to another.  An example might be that I believe that internet attraction marketing is a better way to market.  You may believe that that chasing friends and family is more effective.  If I’m going to “sell” my idea to you, my belief level must be strong.  I have to know why I believe.

FOUR STEPS TO BETTER COPYWRITING

1.  Be Genuine – Be Yourself
Whenever you write about your business or your belief or your company, simply be genuine about what you want to say.  Be yourself.  Endeavor to sound just like you would if we were chatting across the dinner table.

2.  Be Specific
If you are telling someone you’re going to show them how to generate more leads, don’t just say that.  Be specific and tell them you’re going to show them how to generate 35 leads a week, or 5 leads a day or whatever you really think you can do.  Generalities just induce apathy.

3.  Position Yourself As An Expert or At Least A Consultant
Learn how to position yourself as a professional who has value to your marketplace with solutions to peoples problems.

4.  Mix Your Message With Valuable Content
Don’t just mix your with some content, slay them with value and content.  Be sure that the HUGE majority of your copy is content and value to your market.  Mix your sales message in with that and you’ll see much better results.

Also… More Copywriting Ideas

Know your target market intimately – When you target friends and family, you’re targeting the wrong market and most rookies don’t know why that doesn’t work.  Most of them DON’T want a home based business.  It’s like recruiting artists to be football players.

Choose a Specific Angle -  In the world of weight loss there are products that zero in on specific aspects.  Get Rid of Belly Fat.  Natural Ingredients.  Appetite Suppression.  Take your Network Marketing marketing plan to a specific place and become an expert there.

Start and then review your ’swipe file’ – Read the best copywriters, subscribe to their newsletters and read their stuff.  Copy the best headlines you see and keep them in a file.  Don’t copy directly of course, but let those great examples stimulate your creative thinking.  This can be the source for many of your copywriting ideas.

Define the ultimate benefit and then write your headline appropriately – Focus on a specific benefit and then offer that both in your headline and in the body of your message.  Learn to distinguish between FEATURES and BENEFITS.  A feature is simply a quality of a product.  A benefit is what it means to the customer.  FEATURE: MLM Video Teaches You About GOOGLE Adwords.  BENEFIT:  MLM Video Shows You How to Use GOOGLE Adwords To Generate 35 Prospects a Day on AutoPilot.

Good copywriting come with hard work and study.  Learn from the best.  Subscribe to Mike Dillard, Ann Seig, Joe Schroeder, etc.  You don’t have to like their methods or system or style, but read their headlines, copy, features and benefits.  It’s all free education!

Wishing you better copywriting ahead…..
